Parker Worldwide Delivering Today And Creating Careers For Tomorrow.
Parker Worldwide understand that marketing matters more than ever today, yet not as it is in the UK. Parker Worldwide understand that marketing matters more than ever today, yet not as it is in the UK. Marketing must be more intelligent to make sense of the complexity and more imaginative to stand from the crowd, to drive business outside in, as well as inside out, to do business on the customers term and grow profitably, to create more value for customers and employees, by delivering today and creating for tomorrow at the same time. To accomplish this Parker Worldwide need a champion team. Our Business development program nurtures, trains and stimulates from within our market place to a first class level.
Employees today want more than just a job that pays a salary. They used to tolerate menial tasks, in a sterile environment, where their whole role would not change over time, and as long as they got paid they did not care about the wider organisation or its customers and clients. They now expect a more fulfilling role, better environment, and benefits beyond payment, they expect a fulfilling role, personal rewards, to learn and progress, care passionately about their customers, team members and clients, they want to influence their organization and be proud of it, above all they want to succeed.
Employees want an environment that combines discipline and creativity to unleash innovation in every day and every team member. Parker Worldwide create difference and engage people in a world where it often seems that all the best opportunities have already been taken. Parker Worldwide provide our team with a proven and successful Business development program to create opportunities with in the sales and marketing industry.
Like great athletes our business development team require some basic talent, however like those athletes who have gone on to win medals, and compared with many others who have ended up by the wayside, we realise that talent must be nurtured and directed, stimulated and stretched. Our business development team is the same way, evolving out of experience's of the workplace and the market place of sales and marketing industry, along with intense specialised coaching and training.
Our team members all share one main thing in common, the desire for high performance, to do a better job than the rest, a passion to do better and be different. Inspiration and dedication. Parker Worldwide provide training, experience and an opportunity for those who want to do better and be different from others, and to deliver extraordinary results. This attitude within our management and teams, is what allows us to expand and continue to grow across the UK. Parker Worldwide delivering today and creating for tomorrow at the same time for our clients, customers and team members.

Parker Worldwide announce their successful transition from Client open days into Recruitment open days. Since Parker Worldwide's opening in the UK they have been using a Client open day system which allows new and existing clients the chance to view first hand the entire work force within a chosen office, during this day the client is able to interact with the team members view all the different types of marketing systems we offer and even spend time viewing the sales team live at work. After so much successful feed back from our clients we have developed our recruitment open day system that allows us to offer the most transparent view of our business and marketing systems before any new applicants commit or invest their time into the Sales and Marketing Industry.
The recruitment open day allows successful applicants from a first interview process a chance to gain an inside view of the direct sales and marketing industry. With any applicants, for any position applied for, we invite them back on a voluntary open day to meet our entire team, there they will view each different sector of the business and spend some time live watching our sales and marketing teams working to give you first hand experience of how the industry benefits the clients. This gives the applicants the chance to see the entire structure of our industry and spend time alongside one of our assistant managers who have recently completed our Business Development Program. It also allows the applicant to demonstrate their full potential in a low pressure environment throughout the course of the day, and gives Parker Worldwide the best chance to make an accurate decision on our recruitment. This transparent recruitment process allows all applicants the chance to see exactly what their roll within our team would be prior to having to make any commitments to the company. Paker Worldwides Recruitment consultant Arif Rahman says " since using the open day we have been able to evaluate and allocate new recruits into their best suited position within our team, for their maximum personal development and also maximise our business growth" http://pressroom.prlog.org/ParkerWorldwideuk/
Parker Worldwide celebrate Managing Director Boyd's 30th Birthday at Leeds Castle and Raise Money for "Help for Heroes"
On Saturday 5th September Parker Worldwide's Manager's and friends helped celebrate Boyd's 30th Birthday at Leeds Castle in Kent. After an amazing evening at one of the UK's most prestigious castles everyone helped raise awarness and donated money for "Help for Heroes" charity based in the UK.
Leeds Castle, set on two islands on the River Len in the heart of Kent, has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for more than 900 years. Upon her death in 1974, Lady Baillie left the castle to the Leeds Castle Foundation, a private charitable trust whose aim is to preserve the castle and grounds for the benefit of the public forever. In accordance with her wishes, the castle is kept as a living house, with bedrooms that regularly accommodate guests at weddings, conferences and banquets. In the last thirty years over 10 million people have visited the castle.
Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The message of the charity is simple: We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.
Parker Worldwide Team urge people to help support "Help for Heroes" as they continue to do an amazing service and require the on going help from everyone. http://pressroom.prlog.org/ParkerWorldwideuk/

How to get the promotion you deserve at Parker Worldwide.
You've worked long and hard at your present job. Other employees at your work have been promoted. You've dreamed about advancing in your company. But how do you get the a raise or promotion you deserve without rocking the corporate boat?
Take control of the situation," says Robert Lowe, who was recently promoted through the Business development program into Management at Marketing firm Parker Worldwide Ltd. Getting that promotion becomes an achievable goal if you take initiative and responsibility for your advancement. All it takes are a few key steps: communication, the right knowledge, professional skills, a plan of action and the art of negotiation.
The newest Manager at Parker Worldwide Ltd in Southampton “Robert Lowe” explains just how it works.
First of all, Robert adds, "Initiate communication with your boss." Through effective communication with his boss, he learned that he wanted to know more about what was happening in other departments in the company. He offered to find out for him. Now Robert meets with his boss 10-15 minutes a day to give him the big picture of what is happening in the firm.
Sarah HR manager and manager of employee relations at Parker Worldwide (UK) Ltd., suggests that you initiate conversation and dialogue with your supervisor to clarify expectations and perceptions of your job performance.
Evaluation of your work may rest on unwritten and unspoken expectations. Uncovering these hidden expectations and taking concrete steps to full fill them will boost your chances of advancement.
The value of these communication efforts on your job performance is that you can receive support and feedback in a non-threatening, supportive atmosphere. As you learn to receive constructive feedback, you will be able to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and advancement within the company you work for.
KNOW EVALUATION RULES
Every business has its own rules for raises and promotions. Some companies offer raises based on a cost-of-living index or how long employees have worked with the company. For Parker Worldwide Ltd and many other firms, promotions are determined by an in-depth employee evaluation, which is based on an employee's professional development and initiative.
Knowing what skills your company bases promotions on will help you take active steps to improve your job performance. Being offered constant support and training on these skills while working in your current position will speed up your career development and help the business growth in size and strength within its entire team, allowing for an overall company expansion.
For example, Robert explains that Parker Worldwide evaluates its employees through a four-pronged approach that incorporates performance appraisals, personal development plans, upward feedback (team members appraising a team leader's performance) and customer feedback. These four components provide Parker Worldwide’s leaders and managers with a detailed assessment of each employee's work performance.
While the quality and quantity of work performed are important, Parker Worldwide’s, assistant managers and managers, emphasizes good critical thinking and decision-making skills, employee initiative and good self-management skills as critical components in work performance.
Other employee characteristics that managers look for when evaluating job performance include: planning and organizational skills, adaptability, ability to implement change effectively and quickly, emotional control, interpersonal skills, a sense of ethics, and commitment to learning personal and professional development.
Armed with the knowledge of what your company looks for in a good employee, your next step to job advancement is to make your skills match your employer's expectations. Development of professional skills not only reflects your commitment to personal and professional growth, but also increases your value as an employee and your bargaining power for negotiating a raise or promotion.
These days, many businesses encourage and expect employees to continue their professional growth and development. Parker Worldwide supports employee participation in educational programs, employee workshops and seminars, and other opportunities for professional growth."
A good place to work on skill development is through continuing education courses, professional seminars and business courses supplied at Parker Worldwide. Robert Lowe developed his professional skills through courses such as "Time Management" and "Conflict Resolution" taught during his time on the business development program, and through working closely with the Management team prior to his own promotion.
Robert Lowe says, "I always attempt to display continuous growth and mastery in my profession." He achieves this goal by attending meetings from the companies top managers and director, obtaining professional registrations, and recently completing the Business development program.
"My employers have benefited by having a well-rounded person with evidence of learning and continuing education, in their place of work" Robert adds.
MAKE AN ACTION PLAN
You know what your company wants in a good employee. You've developed more professional skills. Now, it's time, as Robert advises, to "take action. Consider yourself a problem solver. Whenever someone comes to you with a situation or problem, fix it first, and then take steps to prevent it. Be proactive."
"Be as effective as possible," "Keep a list of your accomplishments and perceived level of functioning to start a discussion with your employers for advice on how to improve your performance."
Through such a dialogue, you show your managers and leaders how important it is for you to receive a raise or promotion, and that you value their opinions and advice.
As Robert Lowe advises, "The key is to sit down and write out everything you do, not just what is on your job description. Then go over each item individually, and try to do each one better than before. Overachieve. If you can expand, add things to your job so that with your review, you can compare your actual job description with what you really do. If you can track what you do, then your employer can see the value of your work."
Making an action plan is an ongoing process. As you keep making records of your accomplishments and achievements, use the suggestions and advice from your supervisors and pursue opportunities for professional growth. Step by step, you'll improve your job performance and grow closer to that promotion or raise that you've dreamed about.
LEARN THE POWER OF NEGOTIATION
The final step to obtaining a raise or promotion is to learn the fine art of negotiation.
To begin this task, determine the salary and benefits you want, including the minimum and maximum amounts you would accept whether you would benefit more from a salary or performance pay and a realistic assessment of what you can hope to achieve. You'll need to gather information about pay scales for positions similar to yours in the community, which you can obtain from local employment services and other companies within your industry.
If you are invaluable to your company, Robert Lowe suggests, "Attempt a raise or promotion is in line with the information you've gathered, develop a strategy for presenting your request to your supervisor. In your strategy, you always need to be aware of your employer's needs and how your request will benefit the company. Good timing is essential in presenting your request. The energy you devote to developing a strong case in support of your request for a promotion or raise will pay off as you negotiate with your manager.
Once you've made the effort to understanding your organization's promotion rules and initiated open communication and feedback with your supervisor, your request for a promotion or raise will become an open door to your career growth in the company, you really can move up the ladder as quickly as you can learn the required skills.
As Robert notes, "The key to a successful promotion is in seeing the big picture and how you fit in with what other people are doing. Envision how you can move up and benefit the organization as a whole."
By taking control of your work performance and thoroughly planning your advancement strategy, your dream about a raise or promotion can become a reality when working for a company that promotes on your individual performance.

Marketing Firm "Parker Worldwide" UK expansion still to continue.
Parker Worldwide Ltd today announced that the company is accepting new clients for its industry-leading, outsourced marketing, appointment setting and lead generation services. Parker Worldwide aim to open in Plymouth in October 2009, providing opportunities for over 50 new recruits working in a progressive environment.
Why Parker Worldwide continues to grow.
Parker Worldwide recognize that our clients needed to start doing business on their customers terms and no longer their own terms. So doing business on the customer’s terms requires a fundamental inversion in the way our clients do business. It changes the starting points, reverses the dynamics and transforms the roles of people. Business in the UK moves from hunter to gatherer, from aggression to assertion, from doing things when and how it wants, to when and how the customer wants.
UK Business used to be powerful, they used to push themselves on customers, persuading them to buy their products whether they needed them or not, enticing them with advertising and special offers, forcing them to come to locations of their choosing and then trying to sell as much as possible when they got there. Customers have played along with this for years because of such limited choice, there was a limit to other companies & sources and lower prices may not have been around for long. The customers accepted this grudgingly as this is what business did.
UK Business has become even more aggressive over the years to a level now where customers reject it. With more and more Adverts interrupting our TV programs, films and children’s viewing, with every other page in your favorite magazine now printed with an advert, with the buying of customers mailing lists and mailing them constantly with the hope of winning their attention by mass marketing their door mats every morning. Companies have now brought customers home and even mobile numbers and continue to call to promote unwanted products at all hours of the day; the same has happened with emails and text messages.
Customers have started to resent this intrusion on their TV’s, in their magazines, on their phone lines, and even on their email accounts. This type of non personal marketing has been forced into our everyday lives. Customers are no longer prepared to accept such forms of intrusive marketing. These types of marketing demonstrate how downright lazy many companies and their marketers have become. Not only do they bombard you, but even add in free gifts to make you feel obliged to respond, sending out unrequested Christmas and birthday cards in the hope that you will feel loyal to their company.
Customers will not be forced anymore. They want to work with you and others but on their terms. Customers want to buy products and services not be sold them. They have the awareness and intelligence to know what they want, they want to be able to ask questions, and express their concerns have personal interaction. Be treated as individuals not statistics. But above all have the human touch that this digital age now lacks.
They are more likely to deal with your company when dealing with highly trained representatives, that talk to them on their terms not yours. Who can tell them more about what your products can do for them and not just what they do. Can explain how your products and services benefit the customer, not just explain the features better still talk about what the customer is trying to achieve, and how you can bring together a number of products and services to achieve that. Your customers no longer want to struggle through pages and pages of catalogues and technical specifications listed on websites, they want to deal with real people who can solve their problems and help create the solutions for their dreams.
You need to show customers that you are different, and you can offer them a customer service and unique support that no one else can. What we do for our clients; provide them with a marketing solution which offers all the requirements for the new age customer. Provide services which will make you visible, give you presence and brand awareness, increase your reputation through word of mouth, and improve your image by working closely with target audiences and using a team of experts that deliver your product or service directly to the end user. We provide our clients with a marketing and sales team. With the highest integrity we revere honesty and adhere to the highest ethical standards providing timely accurate and personalized information directly to your customers. We respect all people; we value the differences among them and deal with customers in a way that they want to be dealt with. This requires us to discover potential customer’s needs and feelings and provide them with a solution unique to them.
We achieve this by striving constantly to improve, in order to meet and exceed the highest expectations of our clients and customers, we teach and encourage our team to improve their performance and to reduce the cost to our clients and their customers. We base their rewards on results and their promotion on ability.
This sounds obvious but most companies work in a functional system, whilst people work within the limits of their job descriptions. As you go downwards through the organization the fractures become wider, in both purpose and behavior. Staff’s customer service can become diluted. How do you align every part and every person to think breath and be inspired by customers in an organization? How do you align their direction as well as their task around a common purpose, how do you ensure they deliver a seamless experience for customers? Parker Worldwide ensure that their customer purpose is relevant and anchored in every part of their activities internally and externally. We seek to bring the highest customer service integrity and work ethic alive in every person in every action. Through leadership collaboration shared insights and shared rewards, the same passion runs throughout our entire organization and structures support rather than interference. However this is a network- a human network of likeminded people, that has made Parker Worldwide such a successful marketing company, and provides us with continued growth. http://pressroom.prlog.org/ParkerWorldwideuk/

Which has provided us with many of new positions within our expanding company to fill, posistions ranging from Administration positions, Sales & Marketing Reps, Team Managers, Office Managers and HR management postition.
In conjunction with the announcement Parker Worldwide cited success criteria for client companies interested in beginning direct sales and marketing programs in late summer and autumn of 2009. Proven client company success factors include:
1) Capacity and Orientation for Growth. The most successful Parker Worldwide client companies are committed to growth and are regularly investing in a plan of activities to achieve it. Direct Marketing for leads and appointments is one important component in generating leads and converting leads into business. Attention to the other aspects of well-orchestrated marketing plans such as pricing, product/service features and advantages, as well as the capability to follow-up on leads and appointments in a timely manner is also of critical importance.
2) Commitment to the Sales Cycle. The traditional sales cycle has multiple stages and distinct phases of activity that are best supported by utilizing the skills of multiple specialists. Even in today’s Internet age when sales cycles have become compressed for many businesses, qualified leads must still be developed prior to setting appointments and closing sales. Parker Worldwide works with clients’ call lists to do lead generation and appointment setting. Clients whose lists are not developed to the point of being qualified leads can expect that multiple “touches” for a particular prospect may be needed before an appointment is set.
3) Dedicated Client Company Lead Contact. Parker Worldwide provides customized service programs called pilot programs to all it clients companies. Our customer service personnel works closely with client companies on a week-by-week basis and provides feedback along the way to fine tune each client’s sales and marketing program. If a particular marketing system is not working 100%, for example, then clients are consulted and immediate changes can be discussed and implemented. This type of interactive partnership between Parker Worldwide and its clients has produced highly effective campaign results.
